Mark, Damian sent me a copy that I'm looking at as we speak. Excellent work man! You should consider typing this stuff up into a review. It's really going to help alot of people out.

Mark, awesome work there my man. As Hermon said that will be an extremely valuable resource for this Campaign, and if Hermon and Bob have their way we might see this as a regular event !

Cheers, D

Thanks Hermon and Damian. I put a lot of work into it, unfortunately I've got a lot more to do.

Bob, hope you're feeling better.

Hmm, If we do this every year, I'm gonn have to get a lot more P-40s. I only have 3 in the stash, Guess I need a P-40N...

Yep, and I'm gonna need a bigger display cabinet.......or a bigger dog house for when the wife kicks me out.

BOB! Speak up man! Don't tell me your poor old gums are still in pain. Hope you're back in the saddle quick my friend.

Hi Herman,

It was more than just gums, ( a total peel back and some bone removal on the top) I can type but not talk some like it that way here. I will be back to a rational mind by tomorrow after those codiene pills wear off You and Daminan have recieved more action on this post after I was down for the short time. Hey may be I should go away at regular intervals. WOW! Mark you have created a monster (I am impressed that is a great tool for this campaign) I agree, you should make this into a feature. OK D. Herman threw some at me so it is your turn

1. Mark, that's awsome! You've saved everyone in this campaign hours (literally) of search time that can now be used at the work bench. Kudos to you for the hard work helping everyone out.

2. Bob, you ain't going anywhere. D and I are only good for throwing out a few one liners every now and then. You're the glue holding this bunch of young punks together.

I pulled out my 1/24 VFS P-40 from the bottom of the stash tonight and took another look at her. I'm really gonna have to be inventive in the cockpit area since it looks like a one armed giant with a hammer did most of the detail work in there.

Oh well........it's still a 1/24 scale P-40. Life is good!

Herman, I have seen your work and this should not be a poblem for you. Hey even Damian would not complain about the cockpit he would just take out his chain saw and take care of it. I bet you even have a chisel set that would come in handy when you decide to finally work on that monster. BTW what are the deminsions and how much does it weigh?

Spot on Bob, then I would grab the vacuum cleaner, switch it to reverse, and blast the paint at it. That's just how things are done !!

Actually Mark, I ordered the placard set as soon as I spotted it on your list.
Looks like everything else, belts-seat frame-etc. will have to be made from scratch.

Well, at this point, I'm guessing your pain is about 3 times bigger than mine. I'm tackling a Heller 1/72 P-40E just for practice.

2.75 power reading glasses and an optivisor. I prefer 1/72 Aircraft but occasionally I dabble in 1/700 ships.

My profile is naked so does anyone have an idea for a banner? I think that it would bring awareness to the campaign and give me something to hide behind

Mark, my comment was to motivate someone into designing a banner ( I have been unsuccessful ) for the campaign not to scare off. Hey your resource is great, I viewed some decals that I just have to purchase. The REDROO series have some very interesting ( to me ) subject aircraft. for your efforts.

The list is a now a love / hate thing. Hate the time it's taking away from modeling, love the feeling of accomplishment as I track this stuff down.

Red Roo was a great find. I'd seen a couple of their decals at state side on-line shops, decided to track them down for a better listing of their stuff. Not only do they do decals, they have a few resin details too. The great find was that they have the best listing of Tally Ho decals I've found anywhere.

Imagine that, a guy in the North West US is scrounging for Czech Republic decals in Austrailia. Gotta love the Internet.

Well guys, thanks to a kind-hearted gentleman who frequents these parts, I now have my kit for this campaign . . .

Not sure I can deal with the kit decals though, might need an extra 18 months or so. What would be handy right now would be some sort of list of After-Market accessories, somebody should get on to that.

Why quit there?

You need at least one of these:

Good thing somebody tracked all this stuff down.

I don't have a P-40N in the collection, did Hase release that one in 1/72???
