You can add that to your profile settings area (URL for Signature Image area) and it will display as your banner.

I will keep the image up till the campaign is over.

Sort of reminds me of that old movie from back in the 80's "Final Countdown" where a modern US Navy carrier was transported back in time to December 7th, 1941 and the A-7's and F-14's were about to go head to head with the old Japanese planes.

OK, I have NO idea what planet I've been on, but I just noticed this campaign and (since I don't have enough to do) have a question.

Is anyone here planning on doing the big Vintage Fighter 1/24 kit?

Reason I'm asking is that I'm already signed up for the Spit campaign that starts in a couple of weeks and the thought has occured to me that it might be cool to do a Trumpy 1/24 Eagle Squadron Spitfire and a VFS 1/24 Flying Tigers Tomahawk.

Just thinking out loud and wanted to see what the gen was. Thanks for indulging me!

Robert, I'm in 6 or 7 million campaigns this year but I'd drop out of half of them to do this one with you. My great Uncle was one of the original Flying Tigers....matter of fact he had the first confirmed kill of the AVG. I've built his plane already but there are several more in the stash including a Vintage Fighters 1/24 scale P-40.

Hope this one gets off the ground. If you need an assistant I'll be here.

Hermon

Oh, hang on, wrong conversation.

No Mark, I'm doing the thirty-tooth scale Hasegawa kit, but I'm REALLY looking forward to Hermon tackling that big unit !!

Hey, are you guys talking about me behind my back again?

I'm in the process of leasing out a 2000 sq ft. work area to start my 1/24 scale P-40. Right now I'm trying to talk the owner of the building into letting me cut a hole in the roof so I'll be able to use a crane to attach the fuselage and wings together when the time comes.

BTW, Mark I read that review a few years ago. Tom Cleaver is the MAN! But that has to be the ugliest damn paint job I've ever seen on a plane.

Scrap, I thought it was a new review when I stole it.

I'm sorta thinking of doing a RAF painted P-40B from the AVG...

Bob, check this out:

I could seriously get into a NMF P-40. Having built the Hasegawa kit a few years back when the new tooling came out, it's a real beauty.
