Book Review
Hawker Hurricane - Inside and Out

by: Rowan Baylis [ MERLIN ]

The Detail
A brief introduction gives a useful backgound on the Hurricane and provides a selection of period photos... but it's the following sections that make your eyes pop out! Over 200 colour photos show every aspect of the aircraft. By accessing Hurricanes being re-built and sections recovered from crash-sites (a Russian IIC, for example...), nothing seems to have evaded the photographer.

Conclusion
This really is an exceptional book, written very much with modellers in mind. If you've never thought of building a Hurricane, this book might just change your mind...
SUMMARY
Hawker Hurricane - Inside and Out, published by Crowood Press, is essential reading for anyone planning to build a kit of this aircraft. The author, Melvyn Hiscock, has taken the most comprehensive set of detail-photographs I've ever seen.
