In the box
The kit consists of 28 parts, cast in cream coloured resin plus a small decal sheet. Parts are packaged in a sturdy box and are protected with bubble wrap. The 2 larger parts comprising the cab are individually wrapped.
The parts are well cast and exhibit good detail for the scale, the tyre treads being particularly well done. Parts will have to be carefully removed from their pour stub but clean up should then be minimal.
A crew figure is included but suffers from fairly soft detail. I would probably not use this figure in my build.
Instructions are printed in black and white, with added directions given in red. They contain simple colour call-outs for the 3 included schemes, 2 in overall green and 1 in overall grey.
The modeller is instructed to dry fit and check alignment at all times.
Decals are printed by Fantasy Printshop and are nicely done with a gloss finish.
The kit is available from the Video Aviation website at a cost of 16 Euros plus shipping.
SUMMARY
Highs: Good overall detail. Well cast parts. Well printed decals.
Lows: Crew figure not up to the standard of the rest of the package.
Verdict: Video Aviation have provided a good way for the modeller to add interest and scale to a modern U.S. aviation scene.

I have always been fascinated by aircraft. My father being in the Fleet Air Arm afforded me the opportunity to get up close and personal with the real thing. We would attend the annual 'Air Day' at my Dads base, HMS Daedalus, where you could sit in actual operational aircraft. I remember being inst...
