Andras Donaszi shares with us a look at the collection on display at RAF Hendon in London. I will be honest and say I prefer Cosford as the lighting is far superior, but there are some excellent exhibits to see at Hendon.
"Fifi" is the B-29 of the Confederate - er, COMMEMORATIVE - Air Force. This is the first chance I've had to crawl around in her and took a few (266) photos. This is "Interior I," the cockpit and gunner stations. Next will be the bomb bay & gear.
America's North American Aviation followed up on their B-25 , P-51, F-86 and F-100 with this classic of trainers, the T-28 Trojan. This photo feature shows not the whole aircraft but rather striped down airframes revealing internal structure.
