The Fulmar is not often seen, and the Eduard/SH kit in 48th captures very well the lines of this heavy carrier fighter. I will not disagree with you if you say that the FAA are not the most exciting camos of WWII, but they allow plenty of space for weathering. So here is my Fairey Fulmar from the 802B squadron on board the HMS Illustrious, when she returned from the US shipyard for repairs. Most of the insignias are made out of masks.

The Fulmar, a curious fighter to me. I just read about it - Eric Brown spoke well of it as a pilot's aeroplane - and now have greater appreciation for it. Jean, thanks for this excellent model!

Yours is a beautiful rendition of this under appreciated aircraft. I especially like your exhaust staining effects - I feel as if that engine cowling must be hot to the touch!
