The Speyer Expo

  • move
On Easter Weekend the VFLP Speyer held their annual expo at the Buran Hall of the Technik Museum Speyer in Southwest Germany. The hall is the new (and the last) home of the former Soviet space shuttle - Buran. Apart from Buran, there are also beautiful old cars and amazing American fire trucks from last century on the display. Among many interesting things at the Speyer Expo, a magnificent replica of a Pfalz D.III biplane from WWI and a Saab Draken of the Austrian Air Force particularly stand out. In another hall one will find an original Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6, and outside the Buran Hall stands the German Air Force Transall transporter. What a great location for such an exhibition! I bring some photos so that you can feel the atmosphere. Sitting under the wings of the Pfalz biplane is surely one of the best places this weekend facing the huge Buran. Enjoy the photos!
