The name "Corsair" was used a total of four times by Vought's planes; the O2U, SBU, F4U and the A7. The first O2U Corsair rolled out of the Vought Corporation factory in 1927. With the last A-7 Corsair being retired in the late 1990's. The Corsair has seen a lot of action through many conflicts during its 70 odd years of history

About David Johnson (Moeggo)
FROM: WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND

Hi!! I am from Wellington, New Zealand. I got back into modeling back in January 2005. I am mainly interested in World War 2 aircraft and RNZAF during that period too. I mainly build in 1/48 but do have a few 1/32 kits. I am also starting to build a few 1/32 World War 1 aircraft also!
