I just finished the Airix Spitfire Mk.XII built almost oob. I ask people not to use my pix for any discussion of accuracy or personal profiling. I just built it for fun and as a motivation project (which worked). Sadly I had to replace the gun barrels as I screwed up when I tried to drill the kit parts out and put in steel tube. Also I made a new air scoop from a sprue .. surely not correct but I like it better than the blob in the kit. Tamiya and Gunze delivered the paint for the camo and I used the kits markings for SqnLdr. Harries from the kit. These worked well with Klear as a decal medium. Weathering was kept at a minimum. I like to accentuate the panel lines which is probably a bit too strong in this case but I still like it.

Hi Steffen, The overseas area has become a well established part of Scale Modelworld and looks like it's a big social event It will be great if both you and Santa-Luc can make it. I'm shearing my trade stand with Alexander Glass (Uschi Van Der Rosten who is, as you can see, is German; we have teamed up to produce "Disc camo masks". So make sure that you both drop by and say hello and we will have a chat Santa-Luc, I can happily make you a honorary member of the Bulldogs, consider that done, but you do need to have IPMS membership to get in early, otherwise you have to queue with the peasants If you send me your details I will happily pay for a 1 year subscription to IPMS membership for you

Hi guys, Maybe the simplest would be for me to postulate for an IPMS Germany membership. Is this possible Steffen even if I'm... French. Anyway, I'm looking forward to see the Bulldogs at the show! Jean-Luc

Hi Mal and Jean-Luc I already suggested to Volker Helms (our chairman) that if it is not possible that J-L gets an exhibitor ticket for our "booth" that I would pay him a membership at IPMS Deutschland (or if J-L wants he can do for himself). That really is no problem as we already have foreign members. But first Volker shall ask if it is possible for non members. I would ask myself, but apparently Paul Tuckey is no longer in charge for the overseas section so I do not know a contact. all the best and keep on building models (we are off topic here I guess) Steffen

According to the last IPMS-UK magazine Gary Wenko is the overseas liaison and his email is [email protected] At the moment Sam and I are unsure if we are going this year but if we do it'll be great to meet both of you.

Hi all, Steffen, yes we are off-topic, but we are under friends so... It really isn't a problem for me to pay for an IPMS Germany membership. I already write articles in the magazine so... Let's hope it will work with Telford. Any way is good for me. Jean-Luc

Santa-Luc, is there no IPMS in France? Steffen, I didn't think to ask but, as you are a member of the Kitmaker group and of IPMS Deutschland you also qualify for Bulldog membership, do you want me to make you a member?
