1⁄48Button Nose/I Wanted Wings
Jean-Luc Formery's "Button Nose" build was one of the earliest to use the original SIG thread to source information.It depicts P-47D Razorback 42-26298. Coded LM-A(bar) this 56th Fighter Group aircraft was the personal mount of Lt Albert Knafelz. Kits used (all 1/48 scale): - Tamiya P-47D Razorback (ref.61086) - Tamiya P-47D Bubbletop "propeller action" (for the spinning prop) (ref.61510) - Tamiya U.S. 6X6 Cargo Truck (ref.3254 - Gaso-line GMC Fuel Truck conversion set (ref.48051) - Monogram and ICM figures - Tamiya WWII U.S. Infantry at Rest (figures and Jeep) (ref.32552) - Mark58 Display base (350 mm diameter) - Aeromaster decals "The Wolf Pack Pt.III" (ref.48659).
