:-) Very nice F-15, particularly for a first aircraft model. Well done I know this isn't the RRB but, as it is you first aircraft model, I hope you don't mind me saying that the weathering looks just a little over done, for a modern jet. I know they can get dirty, but IMHO would look better on a model if toned down a bit. You may have references that show it, but I wouldn't think that you would get paint chipping. Partly because modern paint is more robust and partly because of the way modern jets are looked after ( I am no expert on this, just my mental picture ) Rather than paint chipping, paint touch up might be more appropriate, ie were you have bare metal showing, paint it with fresh paint. :-) The idea of me posting this is to try and encourage debate from those in "the know". Any takers? I personally build 1/48 WWII but have dabled in 1/72 modern. I suppose one of the reasons I build WWII is because I like the weathering challange :-) Anyway, Cris, well done, what are you building at the moment (aircraft wise) :-) Mal

I like the weathering. I think it's heavy, but beleivable. I'm no aircraft expert either, but I like the effect. I thought the exhaust ports were also well done. I'm building an "E" Strike Eagle variant now in 1/48 scale, and I hope it comes out this well. Nicely done, Firemann816

I agree that the plane looks great. If it is a little too weathered, it still looks great to me, and I would be proud to show it off.
