Looking for tips, photos, of how to dress up cockpit detail. Adding styrene bits, painting bits, etc.

Hi Hightower,

You can go the $$$ route and buy photo-etch and resin, or you can do the old fashioned way:

Get a few packs of styrene shapes of various sizes. Collect all the pieces of wire you can. With or without references, just add bits of styrene rod, strip, blocks, etc., and wires for wiring and plumbing. Just a few pieces can make a lot of difference. Also, do not throw away extra parts. Even tail wheels can look like levers in rounded mountings. If you break a model, scrounge things from it. Bomb fuses from the tips of US bombs make nice looking butterfly valves and handles.
