Does anyone know of any bed and breakfast's near Duxford (even up to an hours drive from Duxford). Me and Allen are planning on going to the Flying Legends display there on the 8th July and are looking for somewhere to stay. I do know all the ones near to the airfield will already be booked by the pilots who will be taking part in the display. Any help or info would be appriciated.

Hi Sam.
You can try looking HERE
Everywhere near Duxford was probably booked up this time last year!
Try a Travel Lodge/Travel Inn search around the area. Duxford is easy to get to from Cambridge,Bedford,Hatfield etc.
Dont forget August 5th is Spitfire Day at Duxford!
Look out for a full list of UK Airshows on Aeroscale very soon.

I can recommend "14-16 Springfield House" in Linton. My Wife and I stayed there when we visited Duxford. Journey time to Duxford is about 15 Mins, and there is an exellent curry house about 10 mins walk away. Good pubs nearby as well.

Martin

Well after even considering trying to stay at a Sergeants Mess in one of the nearby RAF Stations we finally got a B&B booked in Horseheath which according to auto route is only 18 minutes away. Thanks for the suggestions guys and maybe we might bump into some of you there on the Sunday
