Another great build Gino, I like your style of clean, lightly weathered models. Just enough to bring out the detail. Very nice. One question with regards the cable for the spade. In the photos it looks like rope, is it meant to be that, or is it steel cable?

Cheers

Gino - very nice model - exquisitely weathered.

My only minor comment would be the different background colours in the images, did you use different lights or backgrounds across the series? I think the darker blue set tend to bring the model out better.

Thanks guys. The background and lighting is the same throughout. The angles and close-ups change the color for some reason. The ramp cable is made from steel colored sewing thread.

Did you take the close-ups with macro on? I found the same result when I did - takes in way too much light, I fixed it by taping a card 'shroud' around the lens that limits the effect..

All were taken with the Macro setting on. The shroud may help though. I'll try it next time. Thanks.

Another trick is to take the pictures from further away, using the zoom to get closer in. This also avoids half a vehicle being out of focus.

Gino,

Well done! One question, what color is the inside of the breach? It looks OD in some of the photos.

It is now steel. I noticed that after taking the pics too. Amazing what the camera will show that the calibrated eyeball misses.
