Hi People, I am adding the details to my GMC with # 7 wrecker set and need the colours for the following.

1/ ammo box as fitted to 50cal MG.

2/ colour of the bottles for an oxy setaleen set. I am using the spare one from the M26 Dragon Wagon kit.

Thanks in advance

If WW2 ammo cans are still painted the same today, they are a semi-gloss dark forest green color.

If you mean the oxy (short for oxygen) acetylene tanks, the oxygen tank (tall one) is a flat kelly green and the acetylene tank (short, fat one) is a flat dull yellow. You can see actual tanks on my M578 in the gallery (Rob's Motor Pool). During WW2 they may have been painted OD to match the vehicle.

If it's WWII Oxy/acetylene bottles, they were painted OD until the big OD color change, then they just left them the color they were. Which you can see in Rob's motorpool.
