Dave Cox shares his 54mm Andrea "Dragoon, Retreat from Moscow" with us. The figure was entirely painted with acrylics, and won the Seil FOTM contest in April 2006.

Nice job Dave. That seems like a tough environment to simulate and you have done it well. I feel the chill even here in sunny CA. :-)

Actually the figure is one the best sculpts/castings that I've ever had the pleasure to make, the painting (unusually!) went right from the start and the photoshopped image above has to be credited to my daughter; so most of the credit goes to Andrea and Rowenna Cox!!!

Nice work Dave.Really like the way you have have taken the photos too.Makes you feel really cold looking at him.Very cold over here in New Zealand at the moment, lots of snow. Kind regards John
