andy- the chain is in 3 sets of 3inch lengths, that you cut to size, all the railings were like that too. nigel would love the parts for the planes, theres even tailwheels which aren'tmuch bigger than a comma! >,

Is the a Fulmar I see on the bow in pic 1? Are you going to pre-shade them planes?

Did the chain come as one piece on the sheet or do you have to assemble it.
How do you rig a 1/600 swordfish , perhaps you should give Nige a couple to do :-) .

got a bit more done, i've added the anchor chains that replace the kits moulded on chain, and sprayed the bottom red with WEM colourcoats RN red

Nice change Phil I remember building this when I was a kid, the PE certainly makes a big difference.

heres the latest pics of my ark royal, which is my entry to the garry beebe flattops campaign. its the old airfix kit in 1/600 scale to which i'm using a white ensign models p/e set, (which has struts and rigging for the swordfish yayy!). i'm taking my time with this because i don't know too much about warships, but its not too much of a learning curve and as they say "a change is as good as a rest "
