Yes sil. Got a 3 feet aquarium stocked with a clown loach, 2 black fin sharks, 1 bala shark, 2 angelfish, 3 tiger barbs and 4 goldfish. My daughter loves watching them feed.

How much time do you guys allocate for this hobby? For me it's usually 10 hours on weekdays and between 2 to 12 hours on weekends. Usually doing it after the misus and the baby have gone to sleep.

I used to spend two-three hours per day working on my models during weekdays. However, in the last few weeks I have cut down on my working time, organizing events.

.... that's quite a lot of time you have.... you should be able to finish two kits per week!

...for me it's mostly 1 or 1.5 hours per weekdays... at the weekends it's around 2-4 hours per day.... sometimes i didn't do anything for days on end.... perhaps the lack of a 'modelling room' is one of the reasons, or maybe i'm just plain malasss.. he he.. :-)

Wow, some of you really spend alot of time with the models. Actually that's good as the wife (those who are married) can keep a watchful over you.
As for me, i dont make models on weekdays. Usually i would spend about 5 or 6 hours on the weekends (and must have "mood" ). Else the weekends are spent either maintaining or run/fly my RC collections .

Well that comes to 2 hours per day on weekdays and 1-12 hours on each weekend. Roughly the same with you guys. Yes I WAS able to finish assembling two kits per week...nowadays only managed to get one kit finished, if I'm lucky....or rather if I'm rajin! As with you jimbo, sometimes a week passed without me doing anything with the unfinished models!

Sometimes went into a slump, esp. after doing the tricky / boring stuff like assembling 100+ track links or placing hundreds of tiny decals or handling tiny PE parts which seem to take forever to finish!

That's the problem with PE. PE comes in a small fret but it gives you never ending hours of modelling work. Too small! Tak boleh lekat! Fly to somewhere! Painting PE!

Sometimes it makes me wonder why pay for more trouble.

Hello guys! Just got back from Kuala Nerang after being stranded there for three days due to all roads being closed because of the floods. Those had to be the most miserable three days of my life - rain, no electricity, no phones, dwindling HP battery power..good thing there are friends around to share the misery!

Very sorry to hear about your situation Hairil. I hope you and your family is safe. Looks like we may have a bad one this year.

On a lighter note, I remember my Dad told me how his hometown in Kuala Lipis always got flooded every year seeing as my Grandfather's house was by the river. That's when he realized that even chickens could swim.

BTW Kenny if you're out there our Hobbyeasy order will only be sent out after Christmas as the Voyager kit comes in only this Friday. For you guys who are figure lovers (hmm... somehow that came out a bit odd), Hobbyeasy has the Gen 2 Fallschirmjagers. Yes I got myself one and next to my Triumph I'm really looking forward to it. What to do bonus tak da and my in laws maybe coming over the weekend, one has to make themselves happy.

Hang tough Hairil.

CK, it's best to have everything sent after X'mas or even after New Year. Don't want anything to get lost.

As for the latest Gen2 figures, I had a bad feeling you would get it. BTW, you made me dream about on it Monday morning. What a friend I have here, eeh? Ha! Ha! Ha! :-)

Now where is Sil? Just spoke to him about his Gen2 figure. Hmmp! Let's see he can 'tahan' you Beachbum.

Thanks guys. Weather is fine for the past 3 days.

As for UUM, 2 pedestrian bridges were demolished whilst a road bridge is impassable - Thank God it is only for the shortcut route within the Campus. Anyway, during the flood, UUM was totally cut off from the rest of the world. The main Changlun - Sintok road bridge was totally submerged under the overflowing river - the same goes with alternate routes. It was practically a weekend for the University as the majority of the staff lived in Changlun or Jitra and were unable to go to the office.

Away for just a few hours and I'm being accused of so many things. I like (hehheh).

Its good all you and yours is safe Hairil.

As for the lot of you, what's this about powering up rockets. Sound very suspicious to me. I haven't watch the latest installment of King Kong but Jimbo I wouldn't throw away good MODELLING money on it if you've seen the other remakes. As much as I like Naomi Watts very much the poor ape is going to cop it in the end as always. Its a bit like watching too many versions of Hang Tuah. However me and Naomi Watts and both of us on my Triumph, now thats a sight worth watching.

Yes I've gone and ordered the Fallschirmjager Gen 2 and No nobody gets Nothing. Its mine AAAAALLLL MINE. BTW guys especially to Sil, to make things worse I've actually ordered Verlinden's 120 mm. Special Ops Afghanistan fig plus 2 conversion sets (resin) for Fallschirmjager and British Paras. For USD 9.56/conversion set (minus postage) its a good buy. Lots of hands, heads, equipment and its all resin.

Resin are like women. Can't live with them can't live without them.

While I m trying to figure ???
out what is happening with both of our figure
collectors here,
I only see figure $$$
flowing everywhere except into Jimbo and my pockets.

It all started with Sil's Alpine figure,
then to the Gen2 figure,
and now to the Verlinden figure.
I wonder how's Sil going to figure
things out;
Let's hope Jimbo and me won't get the finger
instead of the figure. :-)

Guys! Like CK said, we used to have group builds and now we group buys. Unfortunately, I am dragged into it.

Happy Modelling modellers and Merry Christmas!

The spirit of giving (to me and Jimbo) is in the air! :-)

Hey! Where did everyone go?

CK is riding on his Triumph. Sil with his Alpine-Gen2. Jimbo is in a Russian tank. Target_J in a chopper. Blah! Blah! Blah!

And I m still looking for that turkey!

Merry Christmas Armorama members. Remember the spirit of giving.
