Okay Jeremy first off I did take their business card but I'm likely to have misplaced it. Second my knowledge of KL roads is about as good as my knowledge or road directions in Timbuctoo. So I'll try my best to give you directions. Its where the peddlers set up their stalls on Sunday. If your'e entering Pasar road from the general direction of Pudu road then its on your right not tto far from when you first enter Pasar road. Its a hardware shop and 2 shops before it is a shop (probably owned by the relative) carrying only Bosch stuff.

If I recall correctly I paid about RM3.50/pc for the 0.5mm and 0.8 mm. The 0.3mm. were about RM4 each roughly. At Jaya the same 0.5mm. cost me RM 10/pc. At this diameter I'm sure you know it can only be used with a hand vise.

Thanks for the info. Honestly, i still have no idea where the place is, but i'll work it out.

The price seems very reasonable.

Next mission...to look for Revell Contacta Cement. The one with the needle applicator. Someone sapu all form Jusco stores.

wa CK...u actually made my day la

can u mentioned which shop sell the tiny bits.. i've been looking for bits for years now
i only have 1 1mm, 0.5 mm ade 5 more for 0.1 mm

kedai electroniks or kedai hardware??

i have a manual pin vise for my small drilling job...

never like to drill these small hole with machine...like CK mentioned, the vibration will cause a lot od problem such as misalign, deviation etc etc..even if u have a good mini vise to hold your pieces... i have those small vise bought for rm 9.00 (made in china of course)......

for big drilling job, i have my trusty B&D 750W drill...and even have the impact bosch drill ...this drill was a clone drill which i get from somebody for rm80...and 5 days later i found out in HArian Metro that police seized a warehouse in kepong that hold a lots of bosch imitation drill....which were operated by illegal chinese imigrants..... then baru aku teringat, patut la org yg jual drill tu tak reti cakap melayu/english..
we just communicate in paper annd pen.. he wrote RM300 at first..i cancelled and put RM50....he then blah..so i chase him and wrote rm80..he paused and nodded....... the original drill cost around rm800 ..this is such a big drill..with sds-plus head... one of my dream machine...can drill anything without trouble...back then in my old aprtment, the wall was ready mix casting..so hard to drill la...this drill can do it in seconds
i still doubt the quality of this imiatation machine and so far 'he' never dissapoint me...

so back to drill bits...sapa ade pergi pasar pudu road??? maybe mau kirim la....... i need .2mm, 0.4 mm, 0.5 and .6 mm bits badly..
CK, they sell in sets or can beli individually??

now back to work...........

Boss they sell them individually and they isn't a heck of it as the owner said there's no demand for it. The ones she had which I bought are old stock but still good.

I've only been there once. Traffic was murderous. I'll try and look for the card again but no promises on finding it.

Hello Zaidi

Dont buy those imitation goods (like those from China). A friend of mine bought a imitation drill and after a short time, the drill spewed out smoke when he was backing out the drill. What happens if you terkena kejutan electrik, then we dun have moderator for this forum anymore!!!

Be Original , buy only the originals
(Well, i try to lah, so thats why i spend so much going to the cinemas!!)

Yeah boss there was some bank on the opposite side tapi I tak ingat the bank. On Sunday a lot of hawkers and peddlers set up shop. As far I remember ada 1 Bosch shop only and the shop I'm referring to is about 2 shops away on the same row.

No luck with finding the card.

Not many la my TF toys.... I got Shrapnel, Long Haul, Scrapper and Bonecrusher and two Aerialbots which I can't remember. There was also a Japanese TF toy of 'Ultramagnus' in a small fully enclosed box. But upon opening the box, I found that that Ultramagnus is actually a white Optimus Prime with car carrier trailer instead of container. Since I have already started painting my models at that time, I repainted it to become a more 'accurate' Prime (well, in colour only).

The other notable toys I remember are Lion-O figure and Jackhammer, Piranha and this superbike-turning-into-helicopter from MASK.

Zaidi, your dad might get angry with you pasal u guna duit raya....my dad could (because I guna my younger brothers, saying that it's theirs) be angry because I got all those toys (using my school allowance) when I am already in Form 2!!

My other 'toys'/'hobby' is anything related to flying things. I had bought lots of balsa and tissue planes, foam gliders, electric gliders , RC helis , RC planes and RC cars (well, RC cars dun fly, but when they crash, it looks like they are flying!! )

I think i have had around 15 rc cars/trucks. Some sudah jual . Expensive hobby even if you participate in the cost controlled races. You'll still need to buy the specified motors and batteries.

For helis, i have had around 6 rc helis . Some sudah diretiredkan. Some of the crashes are also very spectacular. Helis are the most expensive to buy and maintain.

Yes, my fave TF cartoon character, apart from Optimus are the Dinobots...especially Grimlock who speaks like a caveman....sometimes I wonder, with all their super technology to build their own, the Autobots failed to give better intelligence to the Dinobots!

Talk about skyfire, the toy is actually a VF-1 Valkyrie from Macross but due to some licencing or some other legal matters, Hasbro dropped it from their line.

Early PC games...well there's Asteroid, PAcMan..and Doom!

I also used to lepak at the local arcade, risking kena tangkap polis (as I was in Form Four then). Fave games are TMNT, Afterburner and Street Fighter. When I was in NCUK, I usually hang out at the 'alternate computer lab', furthering my skills in StreetFighter and this er.....'strip the girl' game!

Check out Transformers online encyclopedia (google aje le)

Tadak la zaidi, no die cast Valkyies. What I had before were 1/100 from Bandai I guess, one for each mode. And Lynn Minmei kept occupying my mind (Hey. I was a teen then OK?)

Oit..the zentraedi do have females but they have been segregated (make that separated) by the Robotech Masters....so much that sightings of females gives them 'strange feelings'. Examples : the three spies watching Miss Macross pageant (swimsuit segment), Lisa Hayes kissing Rick Hunter in front of Zentraedi top brass and Minmei kissing Lynn Kyle during the big final battle.

Jimbo, I used to wake up early (for Saturdays) and lepak at the Block 15 TV room......
