i was wondering if the skybow WC57 was a good kit, my mom bought the kit for my dad for his birthday, but he's really not int building models, so the kit will probably be turned over to me to build.
So is there any thing that i need to know about it, like dificulty or bad fits and things?
thanks

Skybow makes the best WW2 US softskin kits, followed closely by Tamiya's new Jeep and 2 ton truck. IIRC, the WC57 is the Patton Command Car, I have this kit and the WC51 Beep as well as the M38A1C Jeep with recoilless rifle. These are some of the nicest detailed kits I have ever seen. I don't recall any fit problems and the .50 cals are nicely done.

They have no relationship to the old Italeri/Testors WC series kits. Buy and build with confidence.

They only make one so far, the M-41A1 Walker Bulldog, and it was only recently released (read brand new). Word is that it is a beauty, but I haven't seen it on the shelves yet.

Howdy WAR-TOOL,

I have to agree with our good man Rob on the Skybow kit's. Very nice stuff. Rob's also correct on the detail on the .50's, I bought two skybow M2 .50 cal.MG's with M3 Pedestal Truck mount, kit #FS3501 to put in my Guntruck and I must say they are probably the best detailed MG I have seen as of late. Even the mounting pintle is nicely done.

Tread.
