Link and Length
link = 1 link
Lenght = multiple links molded together in a "set"
They are "easier" to put together than Individual link tracks.

These exist in the older Esci type kits, and are also common in the smaller scale vehicles: 1/72nd - 1/76th scales.

A lot of Eastern European kits have link & length tracks too. It seems to be a compromise between single link and vinyl. Single link will be superior most times.
