Great stuff Jerry. You have a real eye for the stonework. Although it's effectively a random pattern you so often see it done wrong -like courses going on a slant - but your looks JUST RIGHT.

Thanks Tim,
The stonework was helped ,I think, because of my experience with building 1/1 scale walls!
Thanks for noticing that small detail

Thanks Mark and Timbo,
Very nice of you to comment. Now on to the frustrating phase of trying to match the Norman stone colors.

Spectacular slapping motion here Jerry! I attempted to play some golf today, instead... heavy accent on the attempt

Looks like another classic in the making. good to see.

It wasn’t very warm here either, may have hit 10C, but windy most of the afternoon. However, with a six to seven month annual layoff due to winter, us Canucks can get pretty anxious and a little weak in the head.

Add in the Covid... and, well you know the story!

Best round I’ve played since last October...

Hi Jerry,

This one somehow slipped under the radar, only just found it, .

A beautiful build, love that farmyard wall, the detail is incredible, must have taken some carving, .

Cheers, .

Nacho,Erwin,G,Cheyenne,Maarten,
Thanks Gents for typing in the words of encouragement! It is a nice motivator after dragging my butt for weeks on this. I got a lot done in the last 2 or 3 days. Working on filling in all the blanks for the story board.
Mission creep has set in though!!! Hahahaha it will mean more figs will have to be heavily modified.

Wow!! Thanks buddy! Those are great pics. There are subtle difference between the colors of all those walls. Hard to nail any specific color down in general. Some are nice and tall as well!
I had several folks tell me my wall was too tall for Normandy. I knew I was right but what can you do ? Like snow in the BoB.
