I'm wanting to make a 1/48th F6F but with such a huge selection of kit choices out the I was wondering if contributors to this forum would advise on the best. Cheers.

Eduard's 1/48 F6F is probably the best on the market.

Eduard hands down

- The Hasegawa offering is decent, but the cowl looks a little wonky and you'd be loath not to replace it with the Obscureco item.

Well, it depends on which model of F6F you want to build, they are all based on the same basic mouldings, just differ in details.

Depends on your skill level and / or how much you want to spend.

Weekend edition - basic plastic and one set of markings (some have more)
Standard kit - basic plastic several marking options and may have basic photo etch
Profipack - basic plastic, several marking options, masks, expanded photo etch and depending of version may have resin and extra marking options

Check Eduards website, you can look at the instructions for any of their kits.
