I read his book a few years ago and found it valuable. I especially valued the views from the North Korean & Chinese sides that he provided. I found the idea the Mao had felt insulted by some comment of McArthur's and had decided to join the conflict for that reason to be illuminating.

Hi mates,
I'm in, because I now have a good opportunity to build my A-26 Invader. It wasn't suitable for another WW2 campaign, because its markings are for the Korean War.
So here we go
Lorking forward to the start!

Howdy Y'all
I know it's a little early to post my "start" photo but this is a "just-in-case" photo as my camera has been a little off lately. Hasegawa's F4U-4 Corsair to be finished in Jesse Brown's markings. Jesse Brown was the USN's first African-American pilot. He was killed in the Korean War.

Let me know if you would like me to post another start photo.

Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Nice to have You on board. Now You dont see a lot of Invaders or Corsairs in the Korean configuration so this will be interesting. Actualy if I recall it correctly Corsairs were involved also in Suez and maybe also couple more conflicts after ww2.

With the start of the campaign eminent, I went through the stash today to see what are the possible candidates. The biggest favorite right now is the Sikorsky, because both the B-45 and Po-2 would need some surgery to get it to "Korean" standard and after the F-100 experience I want to stay clear from NMF finish for a while, so the Sabre will also have to wait.
