It is progressing, wings and decals are on. Touched up some of the paint. So just down to the nitty gritty details...

Does anybody else start making a list of the things that need accomplished when you get to this point. I have a whole page of things I don't want to forget! Little, but necessary things... you know, nose gear, wheels, props, turret

The noseart looks brilliant!

Not a lot of progress but she is on her gear. The interesting thing here is there is no added weight. I put a 1/16th inch rare earth magnet in the nose wheel and that is holding it down on the metal plate. I have a wooden plaque that I will display it on and I have another one of those magnets recessed in it. That's it. The Airfix plastic is on the weak side and I didn't want to risk loading it up with lead shot like I did the previous one.

Karl, how did you prepare rear windows, when additional .50 are coming (just behind fuselage stars)?

I am calling this one done. Any issues were of my own making but it was pretty much a fun build. As previously noted, there is no weight in it. A magnet in the nose tire to hold the nose down, one in the left main to keep it from sliding around and then corresponding magnets in the base. Suckers are small and yet powerful. You can see them at the tips of the Xacto blades.
