Hello everybody,

started the work at the small base ... a little bit of grass, a bit of water at the corner .... now some fallen leaves will follow and some other small stuff ....

Then the smallest details at the Longtrack follow ...

Really excellent work sir. I'm currently working on a 1/25 paper and resin version of this that has the radar cabin interior and very complex antenna.

Hello everybody,

here are some pictures of the finished P-40 "Longtrack"-radar ("Bronja") in scale 1:35.

The mode is based on the AT-T ofTrumpeter, in combination with the conversion set of Panzershop for the P-40 including resin and a huge quantity of photo etched parts.

Additionally used the engine cooler set of Panzershop, photo etched parts of Voyager, brass pipes (Antenna), new engine of MiniArt, Antenna bases of Panzerart and metal tracks of Friul.

Further pipe works, handles and more was made of wire, different other details added scratch.

The finished model was published in magazine "Scale Military Model International" and"Model Military International"

Cheers

Wonderfull - many details and beautifull colloration.

For the 1RL128D/P-40/1S12 it is difficult not mix the different versions. F.e. the short exauster left and right at the front of the cabine is an very old version, all next versions have high exauster. Then, the radio-antenne at the midth of the front from the grill-radiator shows old versions - the two radio-antennes over the two headlamps shows new versions. Versions with three radio-antennes are unknown by me.

On the diorama the stove pipe shows it is winter. Some ventilation hatches are open - this is need for the beam-status - but some ventilation-hatches are closed which need open for the beam-status - notably the ventilation-hatch in the transmitter-door are closed.

Greetings,
