Nice choice Bob! Im tempted to build a Hellcat as well but in 1/72

I've gone with something a little different this time I'm building the Nakajima C6N1-S Saiun allied code name "Myrt". Most of the parts have been cut off the sprues and some have been painted but nothing has been assembled yet, is this amount of progress acceptable to the campaign leader? If not I have plenty of other possibilities.

My F6F-5N has not arrived YET!

I will try to get a Dragon Bf-110D.... in the scale of the Dark Side for me....... 1/48

Too many choices, Found my DNL Black Widow, I've got the Airfix Black Widow somewhere, an F4U-4N, an F6F-5N, a P-70, and maybe even an F2H-3N somewhere..

Hummm, so many nice choices popping up...I feel this campaign will rock &roll

I've been looking at Tamiya's 1/48 De Havilland Mosquito NF Mk.II anyway. I might have to pull the trigger on this one.

Sorry I have been scarce but my home phone and internet cabling has been cut since 5 May and after lots of futile phone calls etc my telco has advised I should be fully back on line by 1 August.

I have been eyeing the Great Wall P-61 'The Last Shootdown.' Now after reading the article in the October issue of FineScale Modeler I think I'm going to put the Mossie back on the shelf and put some cash down for the kit instead.


Any reason to but new plastic is good reason.
