Hello fellow modelers,

I told my wife about this fantastic campaign and as I had no flying boat in my stash, she bought me a Dornier Wal for my birthday (and for literature studies the Porco Rosso movie). Wow! .

It is the old but still worthy kit in 1/72 from HUMA. So, I am in!

Oliver, you are blessed with a fantastic wife and a great flying boat kit to build for the campaign while you watch that movie which I need to check out since Ive not seen it.

Hello, Jose. I looked at several different kits, but I could not afford the price of the Sunderland plus it is pretty big. I will definitely watch your build.

Hola Felipe,

Your US-1 is perfectly acceptable It's a flying boat, after all.

Just a few weeks away from our start date now. Splendid to see you all turn out - a good project attracts a good team, as they say, in business circles.

I havent built a model in many months, all the usual excuses, but this one I am very keen to start.
