Chris/Gary,

Thanks guys for the nice words. This was a fun build I got a lot of ideas for my next Italian A/C from the other builds here.

Although, Maybe we need an ANZAC campaign next.

Finally managed to get some paint on the Sparrow. I'm not really happy with the camouflage. Wanted a more narrower stripes but this was the best I could manage with my skill level. Guess I need more practice. Hope to finish it in the next few days.

Cheers

Hey Jeff I love the finish on it, great looking aircraft.

ANZAC build would be great (ANZAC day is actually in two weeks time).

Raj that camo looks great to me. Its going to be a nice looking bird when its finished.

Raj,

Not sure why you wanted thinner stripes. That looks really good and pretty much inline with BW pics of A/C with that specific scheme.

It looks great! Can not wait to see finish product.
Your skill set is good, don't sell yourself short.

Raj I agree with every bodies summation great looking camo job! Skill set looks to be just fine in my book! I've looked at various pics of this camo scheme and I must agree with Jeff it looks quite authentic. So while it may not have been what you were trying for it certainly works for me.

Gents

Thank you so much for your kind words. I was using the Osprey book for reference and the was trying .....

..... for this camo. That's where the desire for thinner stripes came in. But now this one has grown on me and I'm pretty chuffed about the finish. I finally figured out how to use my double action AB as a double action AB

Hope to finish it in the next few days. And this new found confidence (counting chickens a bit early perhaps) wants me to try new camouflages that I used to steer clear of earlier. Though I was contemplating using the reset device earlier, now I'm glad I hung in there

Please stay tuned for more updates.

Cheers

Alright gentlemen we're in the home stretch now just two weeks left to go. If you've completed your build please ensure you have a couple of pics of it up in the campaign gallery to ensure you're awarded your ribbon. For those of you nearing completion I have no doubt you'll get it done in time!
