The Cold War was a period of running hostility between the superpowers of the USA and the Soviet Union between the years of 1945 to 1991, and the Soviets started a mass introduction of jet fighters over the following years, starting with the MiG-9 and ending with the MiG-31.
Fonthill Media''s book of the Soviet Cold War fighters looks at each aircraft that flew for the former Soviet superpower during those turbulent years.
