Thanks for a thorough review, but one thing you forgot to mention was what a bargain this kit is. In the US, Roden and Eduard list the kits separately for a combined MSRP of $90. The MSRP of the Condor Legion combo kit, with those great color photo-etch parts, is only $55, and can be had for less from many dealers. I managed to get mine for only $41 USD!

Hi ColDunwerk Yes thank you for pointing that out it is a fantastic price for a couple of very good kits the Roden one is nice but unfortunately not up to the standard of the Eduard Bf109. I am glad you managed to pick one and be good to see your finished work

That is a very good comprehensive review Adie, thanks for putting that together! I will be interested to see some of these built up, at that price point it is a very attractive proposition. I haven't seen it in store here in Australia yet, but I will keep an eye out.

Cheers, D

Hi Adie

Nice review. It definitely does look a very tempting double-boxing, and excellent value. Sergey Kosachev has just released a resin exterior set for the He 51 that looks well worth adding to Roden's generally excellent kit.

All the best

Hi Rowan

Good to hear from you again I hope your one handed photography is coming out well! Thank you for your comments regarding the review and I will definitely keep an eye out for the Sergey Kosachev resin as I have to say I really would like to build this into a little Dio especially after reading the book !

Good to hear from you buddy hope you are recovering well

All the best

Cheers Adie

I tried my "new hand" at airbrushing for the first time today... the doc said I wouldn't be able to do anything for two weeks, so I was determined to prove him wrong and get back in action in less than one. The bruising's not gone down yet, so I can't say it was exactly comfortable and I couldn't have stood a long spraying session - but the paint went in the right direction, which I call a result.

All the best

Rowan
