Very cool "rustbucket" look!
I'll be weathering my Mk IV at Cambrai a lot less, but may use some of those techniques.
Outstanding!

A great!
Terrible rust-well done. The original Renault placard were rather steel or cast iron.

Welcome, Tony, I can't for the life of me figure out why you propeller heads want to build a tank on an airplane forum.
I hang out over there all the time, but this should be the home of your treads, lol.
And fine work, too. I got the 1/35th version under the Christmas tree.

I used Vallejo model colour , the base was Brass 70801 mixed with black to dull / age the colour finish with possibly a little beige in it., on top of that to give the green corrosion I over painted it with Vallejo colour park green flat 70969 mixed with Vallejo colour beige, ( the colour name and number has worn off the label, but it is between pale sand and sand yellow when comparing them).. Hope that helps, I think it looks right for the corrosion.
The brass and park green flat are both in the ww2 German camo set btw

Russia captured them from Poland and donated them to Afghanistan, they were found in a Kabul scrapyard amongst others, one outside a training camp was gifted back to Poland, the other two went to the USA and I think one possibly from the USA pair is going to France.

Whoa, impressive rust! Is there any more info available on this Afghan FT17? Would be interesting to know how it got there.

HI everyone, first post
Ok I am doing a 1/16 FT-17 build over on the LSP forums and it has been suggested I post it on here, this is still WIP and my first time at rusting a tank, though I have done the odd Sci-Fi stuff before.
Anyway I have linked the build to here and have added a couple of Photos, I will endevour to keep this thread updated as I go along
Pictures and state of play so far ( It's well advanced )

Ok, Linky and I hope it's ok to link it.
