So after a lot of blood, sweat tears a house move and my own mistakes here it is.

Well worth every drop Stephen, another beautiful build! Like Richards Beau, the markings on the black are just striking and make for a really interesting display. I'm looking forward to seeing the photos on the grass mat now, and I'm sure you will have fun weathering now that the major works are complete. Please make sure that you post more photos here for us when it is all done. Like you said earlier, first to enter, last (possibly) to leave.

Once again, many thanks for taking part and taking the time to share so much of your progress with us. It doesn't matter how much work I put in to running these Campaigns, if folks like you don't join in we don't get far!

Cheers, D

Stephen,
Great job! I built this plane as a kid, and thought it the ugliest thing ever made to fly. Good work!

Thanks guys. It was a fun build despite my problems, but I'm better prepared for the next time I build one.

Gaz, it's certainly one of the more aesthetically and aerodynamically challenged aircraft to see service. And the earlier radial engined Mk.1 was even uglier!

After I've finished the last little bits I'm off to build something from Wingnut Wings.

Not a speed job Daimian but finishing stress i guess ( always late with things)

Nice looking Whitley one of those planes overshadowed by the Lancaster.

Anyway,.. on the German side in the spraying box i added a few more dot's and sealed it with floor polish
Added the box decals,.. but,.. i'm not happy with the Revell decals somehow these are a bit thick and more importantly these failed to stick,.. Could be me though with not putting enough floor polish on the Heinkel.

Nice group built!!
Thx

Apologies for my delay in uploading my final images to the campaign gallery. Last week we had a leaky shower that took priority and I only managed to do the last finishing touches over the weekend, but here they are.
I used Mig weathering powders for the exhaust staining, a mix of panzer grey and europe dust. I then used a silver pencil to add some paint ships around the intakes and canopy frames. The Nissen hut is from the Hornby Skaledale range and was used to weigh down the corner of the mat as it kept curling up. Looks quite good next to the bomber.

Thanks Damian. I'm glad you like it.

Jan, great work on your Heinkel. I love the paint scheme. A winter cammo is something I've yet to try myself.
