Instead of the RQ-4 Global Hawk, I might jump in this campaign with Italeri's F104G Starfighter with Orpheus pod, which was used for aerial reconnaissance.

When will the campaign start?

We seem to have lost Mascharius on this one. Anyone else want to take the lead and submit this campaign? Frankly, I'm getting a gift for Hanukkah that will qualify so I might very well join if it gets up and running.

By the way, in case I'm crazy enough to enter, I'm getting a little tired of these newfangled recce machines. This would be my entry:

Third!
Here's the RF-4B left over from 55 years of Phabulous Phantoms.

I think I got about this far:

Hope I can find where I packed it away.

All right, I'm in for this one...

Expect a WWI observation two-seater - deciding the build, but most likely a 1/32 scale Hannover CL.II or a Rumpler!

Splendid! Will be good to have some canvas and string as well as supersonic jets.

I'd like to see any ideas for the campaign ribbon.

I have a thing for the Voodoo right now -

Howdy Y'all
Would a P5M Marlin be acceptable for this campaign. I've always wanted to build one for my father. He served in a seaplane squadron and is fond of the Marlin, one of the aircraft he worked on.
Take care,

Hi,

I guess I will enter this campaign with a Henschel 126 close recon A/C (1/48 ICM) if it fits the mandatory description😀
It shall be the only campaign for me in 2016 given my schedules. Any idea about its time span?

Cheers
Pedro

Thanks! I just enlisted, my 6th campaign for 2016. If I can finish all of the campaigns I will set a new personal record. This fills up my schedule, unless something very interesting shows up...
Of course there's always the annual Hanger Queen and Unfinished Business campaigns.
Take care,

Hi mates,
happy new year to all of you!
I'm in and at last I hope get my fingers on the Airfix Spitfire PR Mk. XIX in 1/72. Got it over a year ago, still in my stash.

Maybe something with the SR-71 Profile? To me, when I think of reconnaissance aircraft, it's what comes to mind. Plus I'm using the Testors 1/48 kit for this build:

Thats a good idea, I also thought some rendition of the "all seeing eye" could be appropriate.

Ive wont be jumping on this immediatley as I have other builds that I need to get further down the road with. I intend to build the Accurate Miniatures 1/48 Mustang Mk.Ia as my recce aircraft. I have the Ultracast Mk.I conversion I can use too but I havent found a set of early Mk.I decals yet. So unless I find some, It'll be a Mk.Ia

I think that's a fine ribbon, though my build might be of a bit slower aircraft.

It's February 1 where the time changes, so it's time for this one to begin. The official thread is here, please post all your campaign related discussion, etc. there. This current thread will now be locked.

Off we go!
