Good Day

I am cutting this very close, I hope I'll finish in time. I'll be doing the FW190 as seen below
Cheers

Rob

You've still got a month and it's Tamiya, Rob. You can do it!

Hi Micheal

Tamiya perfect engineering, fits together perfectly. Problem I have is, here in the southern hemisphere it's summer and from 20 Dec we're going on holiday, so technically only have 2 weeks left. But it is a Tamiya

Hi,

Here my progress and finished result in this campaign

Not Tamiya original but a Italeri mold, it is OK although it has some fit problems and some how the pilot seems to have way more room than an original example but once all filler is added it looks OK I guess.

I intended to built it OOB however the cockpit is rather "empty" so I added seat belts made from copper tape and some bits to the side panels to make the whole a bit more appealing (not keeping myself to the original,..i Just call it artistic freedom). The pitot prope is a metal pin

Once sprayed with Tamiya acrylics I sealed the whole with Future and applied the decals.

After another layer of the floor polish highlighted the panel lines with some oil paints

I now see I at least made 2 mistakes with this built unfortunately,..one Being the Yugoslav banner (it's to high) and the other is just stupid,.. The front wheels are incorrectly mounted,... Anyway it's a nice building and I'm happy with the result.

The original 18109 got written off 04may99,.. The aircraft was shot down by USAF F-16Cs while flown by Lt.Col. Milenko Pavlovic according to some internet source

Thanks
