I can't believe that nobody's mentioned the most infamous fixed gear combat aircraft of the war, the Ju 87 Stuka!

Fixed wheels of WWII, I could do that. Something Finnish or Russian from the shelf.

OK. I know I shouldn't do it but I have an odd limited run kit of a Fiat CR 42 that would fit perfectly. I'm in!

I have read the rules and any fixed landing gear aircraft that I would be interested in building are exempt.
Good luck to all.

I will be building the new (old) Airfix 1/48 Hawker Fury 1 in No. 1 Squadron SAAF markings, East Africa 1940-41, where they squared off against the Italians.

The Fury is one of the most beautiful biplanes ever. The green and brown camo will be very unusual for a Fury. The South African roundels are blue, white with orange centres.

Another fixed under carriage fighter is the Czech Avia B.534, another beautiful biplane.

Boeing P-26A? Designed as a front line fighter and still flying into 1941.

And saw combat with the Philippines AF in Dec. 41.

I ordered ICM 1/72 I-15bis WWII Soviet Biplane Fighter to enter in this campaign. As soon as it arrives I will post a photo, I do not know much on this a/c so some research is in order now.

Thomas: Funny ribbon, I like it very much. For this campaign I would have the old Fujimi Stuka D-1 in the shelf. I have to look for some detail parts in the net, but I guess, no etching parts wil be there for this old kit

OS2U Kingfisher Aircraft
The gear is fixed to the pontoon. I want to build it for the Seaplane Campaign but I never got it off the ground

Sal,
I sure can't reply in any way as someone who can avow or disavow anything, but I'd guess the OS2U on the beaching gear wouldn't really apply as a fixed gear, but! There was also wheeled option for the Kingfisher which was a fixed gear, and I'd bet that would wash. As below:

I think the idea is to have fixed wheels, skis, and floats. So I would hope that the Kingfisher would be allowed as would other seaplanes, though not flying boats.

There are not that many subjects as it is.

The overiding proviso being that the subject is a front line aircraft.
