It seems like I have one of the combatants, but not the other. I have a Mirage III, and A Mig-17, but I was going to do the Mig-17 in NVAF. Could I do an Egyptian Mig-21?
I have a F4F Wildcat; I would need to get a KI-43 Oscar.

I just ordered a hobbyboss 1/48 F4F Wildcat and Tamiya 1/48 Rufe A6M2N - for episode:

04. Guadalcanal (11/24/06): Guadalcanal campaign aces; Captain John Lucian Smith and Medal of Honor recipients Jefferson J. DeBlanc and James E. Swett pilot the Grumman F4F Wildcat vs. Mitsubishi Zero, F1M "Pete", D3A "Val", and Ki-43 "Oscar".

For the first time ever, I decided to be proactive and ordered the kits yesterday and they arrived today. Now I will not be tail end Charlie this time

Dear Dog Fights campaign participants:

Here at AeroScale we're constantly testing the waters to see how we can make your online modeling experience even better. Due to some suggestions around campaign organization, we've decided to change things up a bit to encourage participation and completion of models. To that end, we're changing the one campaign start per month rule to two and allowing started kits into the standard (as opposed to hanger queen) campaigns.

Therefore, with the consent of your campaign leader, this campaign will now start on April 1, 2015 and run 'til March 31, 2016. In addition, models up to 33% started will be allowed.

We hope you will agree with these changes and they will encourage you to join in and finish campaigns here on AeroScale!

Hi all!
Where are the participants for this campaign? Only 5 enlisted...?
Thinking about to take part (2 Kits are a challenge but finish line is far) with my recent arrived 1:48 Airfix-"Dogfight Doubles"-Kit includes a Bf109 E & Spit Mk Vb fighting above Malta.
Should be great fun...,first look is promising. Picture follows.

Since I failed (again) to finish a Campaign (Hawkeye now goes to "Hangar Queen" - next chance) I'll hope to make this one.

Meanwhile a suggestion for a Ribbon/Banner. What do you think?

Man, I SERIOUSLY don't have time in the schedule for this; but it's going to be really hard not to do the Academy F-4C as Robin Old's aircraft and the Eduard MiG-21PF as Nguyen Van Coc's. I don't know that Coc was involved in the Bolo battle but it's the right unit (921st Fighter Regiment). Where do I find the time?!
