Somehow I completly missed your build of the T-38 untill now.

Read some reviews of this kit some time ago and I believe all trashed the kit due to fault measuring and strange shapes of certain details, but looking at your model it actually looks OK. You did a splendid job with the painting, and thank you for getting the flag properly and yes the portuguese stencils are badly written, which like you said, is something that can only be attributed to sheer lazyness of the maker.
I remember seeing the T-38 fying and they had a rather prestine look owing of being well kept AC, so your model replicates it quite well. Congrats!

I checked the web for photos and the aircraft always looked well looked after and clean even the static displays.
I do not take much notice of rivet counters,if the model looks like the real one to me great, you can spend time building models or counting rivets but remember life is short.

Took a trip to my old photo album, back in the day I used actual roll film, and found this T-38 snapshot. It confirms my memories regarding the well kept looks they had. Believe this was taken during one of the TigerMeets held at Beja AB, mid nineties.
