Techmod from Poland have recently prepared two sets of decals for the 1:72 and 1:48 scale German Fw 190s in Hungarian service. Michał Sindera presets the content of these sets.

They really look good on the paper, but that's the problem with techmod ( In my case atleast). I had two sheets which looked wonderful on paper, but dissolved after putting them in water and trying to apply to a model.

It happened quite often, if not typically, with their products, especially with the old ones. Since few years, around 2011 I noticed a major improvement of the decal film and different paper. Since then I neither heard many complaints on their quality nor it happened to myself. However I can't say it won't happen as I bet there are still many "old" decals stored in shops. Beside keep in mind that the decals are not wine - they don't get better with age.

Don't soak them in water, wet the back of the paper with a paint brush. I have used Techmod decals for many years, old and new, and never had any major problems, occasionally one spits in two, especially if it is long and thin, but I have never lost one or had to replace one.
