All in an individuals 2 cents worth of opinion, but, I just like the happy, bright colors of Brents better. That's just me, though.

Right, so I have an He-111 in 1:48 that I started building when I was maybe 15? It's not finished, but the camouflage is applied. However, it's hand-painted, not pre-shaded, and overall looks like garbage but otherwise might be salvageable. If I were to, say, strip the paint off and start from scratch, would that be allowed, or is that bending the rules a bit too much?

If not, there's a 1:48 B-17 still sitting in-box in the closet, which would be absolutely hilarious to build considering I can't think of anywhere to realistically display it in our household. Not quite sure what my dad was thinking when he purchased that one, haha!

Warren, Holy Bomb !!!
You have a Bomber stash that could fill every Bomber Campaign for the next 30 yrs ...

Hard to pick one... pick one for every scale
or a WW1 / WW2 / Modern..

This is going to be a great Campaign !!!

Hi John..

There are a few there aren't there. I have been collecting kits for a long time now and it looks like they have even been multiplying in the cupboards!

I can feel a four engine model coming on...

I have just enlisted and have a Vulcan in my stash, a 1/200 Vulcan sold as Vulcan 604 with Shrikes. However, the boxing also includes an alternative fin, bomb bay and Blue Steel missile. I think I might make one from the Nuclear White era stationed at Cottesmore near to where I live

You mean like the O/400, a Lancaster and a Vulcan?

I don't know if the campaign is long enough..

Van, one of the requirements that you've listed is that the bomber have two or more engines. One of my current interests is WW11 US Navy Dive bombers/Torpedo bombers. I've recently built both the SBD-4 Dauntless, and the TBD-1 Devastator. I'm thinking of going the ebay route to purchase a Accurate Miniature's 1/48 SB2U-3 vindicator. Would this be acceptable to you for the bomber campaign?

Scratch my He-111 entry, probably more fit for a Hanger Queen build... however, I know for a fact that I am receiving Academy's 1/48 B-25G from Santa. I think that'll be my entry, woo!

I lost the ebay auction on the Vindicator as the bidding was just getting insane. I'm currently and planning on being the top bid for the Accurate Miniature's 1/48 TBM-3 Avenger.

One of the rules for this campaign is that the aircraft have a min. of two engines, once again the TBM-3 only has a single engine, but was a torpedo/Dive Bomber. I'm hoping that it will be accepted for this campaign.

I've carefully counted the multiengine bombers in my stash and come up with.....1 and that is committed to the FROG campaign (it's a Mossie). The only other candidate is the PR9 Canberra, converted back to whatever B mark it came from. Warren, don't laugh at the Gotha, it was much feared in it's day, and that is the only criterion you can judge it against. I feel a shopping trip coming on.

Same here. No problems, but your could say I'm a gluttone for punishment since I've built one AMT and one of the Monogram BUFF's. It was a "D" in SEA/Black colors. Massive for 1/72 and thats the problem.
