What would you think if we opened the Campaign to any aircraft of the Mediterranean including ship based aircraft?

Are what-ifs allowed? An F-16 from the Air Force of Malta might be interesting. After all, everyone's after the Maltese Falcon.

Howdy Y'all
Would aircraft operating out of N. Africa countries or Italy be allowed? Specifically, US and German aircraft stationed in N.Africa and/or Italy during WWII.
I'm in, regardless if this is allowed. I have a few choices: Israli F-16, Egyptian C205, French Hawk, etc.
Y'all take care,

Aircraft stationed / based in North Africa, Italy or other Mediterranean countries are allowed because they are part of the history of the region.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm in, perhaps with an Italeri Spitfire or ProModeler P-38F in 1/48 scale! Both American. Or...

Just came across this thread. Brent, I think this is a nice idea for a campaign and as I'm running out of campaigns 2013 (just one more - Phantom - to go) and as I have some suitable kits in my stash you can count me in. I could offer an ANR Bf 109 or a Turkish Tomahawk, an Egyptian Tomahawk, a Spanish Buchon or an Israeli Mezek. I really fancy that ANR 109, as I intend to build it this year ....

Happy modelling!
Torsten

PS. That Phantom I'm going to build soon will be a Turk Hava Kuvvetleri (Turkish Air Force) one, btw .... ;-)

Club Med Campaigners; our campaign is awaiting approval. I’ve asked for an October start date and for the campaign to run through February 2014. Here is the current role call for our campaign.

Our campaign mods have been off for medical reasons recently. They'll take care of this in plenty of time before the campaign starts

Some of these countries aircraft and paint schemes are rarely, modeled. I have an Encore PZL P-24F/G that I will do in the 1940-41 Royal Hellenic Air Force markings.

My entry in this campaign represents the Greek Royal Hellenic Air Force. When I found the kit on the LHS shelf I was intrigued. Here is a bit of background history from http://imansolas.freeservers.com/Aces/The%20Greek%20PZL%20fighters.html
"A formation of Cant Z-1007 bis bombers tried to bomb Thessalonica. Six PZLs of 22 Sq. , supported by A/A fire, engaged the enemy. F/Lt Marinos Mitralexes, after unsuccessfully expending all his ammunition against an Italian bomber, he rammed it sawing off its rudder with his propeller’s blades. The bomber crashed to the ground out of control, while Mitralexes successfully crash-landed his own aircraft."
Quite a daring act of courage; this story and similar stories are what inspired me to suggest this campaign. We begin in October, take time to do some research on your aircraft. I would like to have all countries of the Mediterranean represented if we can. Encourage others to join in with us.
Brent

I may just have time to do something Italian. Sincerely hope I can squeeze it in. The (other) RAF had all the best camouflage.

I might be interested. I have the Sword 2in1 70th Anniversary battle over Malta kit. It has a Spitfire V and a RE-2001. I would like to take on the challenge of what colour blue(ish) them Spit's were painted

Enlisted. Will do this kit. Is it ok to do 2 kits? This one is a 2in1.

Cheers
