Good Googalie Moogalie - check this guy out. Here is some inspiration for diorama builders, ship builders, scratch builders, heck - even armor builders can get inspiration from the turret bunker.
NOTE: I can't take credit for this - I found it surfing!! It is Joe Neumeyer's latest diorama.

Great looking piece. Lot's of action and it gives you the feeling of reality. I can almost smell the diezel fuel and sea air.

What an incredible piece of workmanship, creativity, and artistry. It's one of those rare scenes that's brimming with life to the point where you find yourself looking for something that'll tell you it's just a dio.

According to Rhoad Williams in his thread on missing links, it took about 2 months. The quay is accurate armor.

For those that think this dio is good, check out some other dios from this guy. A master or what?
Joe Neumeyer´s site

I also seen this on another site ...... the crane in its unpainted state. This might give a better impression of the true scale of this dio. Magnificent!

I love it. Someone mentioned the Andrea U-Boat diorama, I have the special edition of teh magazine which features it, however I prefer the e-boat diorama. the Andrea Dio was exactly that, a dio commisioned to promote the U-Boat kit. Now I don't know what came first, there are similarities it is true, but how does one change the form of a quay?. The guy's other stuff is pretty impressive as well..god I hate talented people! Jim
