This is a resin cab from a friend of mine. He makes some of the best castings that I have ever used. I haven't casted any of my own since I got some of his. The fifth wheel is a scratch built unit and the chassis is from the M-925 series kit by Italeri. The front commerical drive wheels and tires are from the same guy that I got the cab kit from. The frame has to be shorten about a 1/4 inch for the M-52 tractor config.

WOW !

Is that the Real Models resin kit I recently saw for sale at the KMK meeting in Geel ?
What truck frame is this built on ? A Bigfoot ?
Tell me more ! I'd LOVE to build one of those... !

Animal:

Jeeze Loweeze you do great work. The tractor looks superb, plus, you have the tidiest modeling bench I've ever seen!

I am always amazed at the softskin expertise you have that can be applied to your models. This is gorgeous, and once mated with the trailer will be a show stopper. Thanks for the pics.

Steve
ps: I don't suppose you and Roo would ever consider a softskin group build and teach some us your tricks of the trade???

This is the M-52 tractor that will be with the 28 foot S&P ammo trailer. Just about ready to add paint and weathering http://community.webshots.com/album/91403448JXGeVz
