Here is the trailer finished with the exception for the unit markings(will finish that with the tractor) The pallets and dunnage are scratch built. The cargo is 155mm and 203mm rounds along with twocases of hand grenades. Also some 50 cal and 7.62 cal ammo on the pallets. Now I start the tractor build. http://groups.msn.com/armorama/sptrailer.msnw?albumlist=2

I think this is some of your (to me) best work yet. The load makes it. Can't wait to see the tractor unit to make it complete.

Animal:

Very impressive work AGAIN!!!!, the trailor detailing, load, and paint weathering, are top shelf---like all your work!!!.

This is good stuff! Congrats.

Steve

ps: Might be fun to have a softskin group build. You, Cliff, Ron-Kok and a couple others could teach us a few of your softskin tricks!!! (lol)

hmmm this would be a difficult job as I can see twisted fate painting his pink with flames and SS74 putting multi colored lights on the dash and parachute harness instead of seatbelts. But it might be worth while......hehehehehehhehe #:-)

Animal - good looking trailor you got there..... what kit is it from?

The weathering is superb.... very "real" looking. Any particular secrets you'd like to share?

There is nothing else I can add to whats already been said. I was admring the trailer in construction, but now painted with load... really steals the show. I, too, am amazed why things like this are not available as kits. There is also the cross-over effect where lorry builders would be tempted to model military vehicles like this. great work animal. Wish this one was mines!
have you ever considered writing a feature to include drawings and tips to build one of these. I, and am sure others, would be very interested!

I have thought about it. Biggest problem is geting my thoughts down on paper in the proper order. The phot part is a pain forf me. I have not figured out how to post directly on the fourm. I have tried many times with no success. A lot of this info will be in a book that I have been helping to write. I am not sure when it will be published.
