Hi Guys and gals,
For my trade stand at Telford I hope to be able to do demonstrations on painted on markings, for that I need to be able to use my airbrush. I could take my compressor but to have 1 5amp electrical socket it costs 118, that's on top of the 135 for the stand. I can get over this problem by using compressed air, but I can't find where to either buy or hire one.

So do any of you know where I should look?

Mal,

I have a 10 litre 300bar dive tank. You could have this if its of any use, it just requires a retest which any dive shop should be able to do.

Hi Luciano,
That could be the perfect answer, will a dive shop fill it as well, I guess that they will but although I have done scuba diving I've never been in a dive shop. How much do you want for it?

Mal, yes the dive shop will also refill. Last time I had it filled (several years ago) it cost about 3 the test if the grey matter serves was around 15 (again several years ago).

As for price, make me an offer.

I wouldn't know what to offer, without causing offence

I had a thought; will the valve take my regulator? Or will I have to replace the valve (if one is fitted) with my regulator and, if so I don't think that the tank would be fillable through that fitting as I'm sure that it is one way. Basically how do I fill it?

Mal,

I'll take a photo when I get home tomorrow, as it is the cylinder has a valve and an open connection to which I have a fitting attached with pressure gauge and Schrader fitting, which was used to fill my 1ltr air tank for paint balling.

pm sent

Mal,

Photos of the tank and the fitting I have. If you are attending the Birmingham show and Andy is in agreement I could get it to you that way.

Let me know what you think

Hi Luciano,
I'm not sure if my regulator will fit the thread but I should be able to sort out a push on fitting for the regulator outlet that you have there. So I reckon that it will work?
