I have been banging on about getting a new plotter for some time now. I had a demonstration of what is the best plotter out there, Summa, and it is far and above what I'm currently using. The problem was the price so, like most things at the time, it had to wait until I sold my house. Something happened just before Christmas (I can't say what but you will find out in early February) which will very likely mean a rush of orders. Basically SWMBO and I looked at our finances and decided to cash in my life insurance and, if I only bought the machine; without the software 450 and the onsite installation 250, I could get it and a couple of rolls of material. The plotter is paid for and should arrive in the first week in January. Of course not having paid for on site installation I have to work out how the thing actually works, but I did exactly that with my current device, so I'm quietly confident.
Wish me luck

My new plotter was waiting for me whan I got home from work so Miracle Masks can say that I'm now in the 21st century and things should only get better. Of course I need to play a bit but, without getting technical, it cuts very much faster, it is more accurate, loading of jobs is an absolute breeze, I don't have to work out if the job will fit or not, it's done automatically; I can even load seperate jobs and the thing knows where it is and nests accordingly, something else that I don't have to do. Basically it isn't a chore to cut masks anymore and I'm ready for the world.

Be warned, if your going to Bolton, my topic of conversation will probably be Summa plotters

Hi Mal,

Would you give me your contact details for Miracle Masks so I can pass them along to Dave? E-mail them, if you still have my e-mail address.

Good on ya. Glad you hear you are making a good go of it. Wish you all the very best in the enterprise. You are filling a real gap in the market.

Luciano,
Thanks mate, I might even be able to cut 1/144 scale stuff!

John,
Yes I think that I still have your email address; I had planned on contacting Dave but I'm really snowed under at the moment. I've been working on something, but I can't mention it on the web just yet. I'll tell you when I said my contact details.

JP,
Thanks it was either give up or go for it and I don't like giving up so no contest really.

Hi Steffen,
Yes I haven't forgotten your masks but I must admit to putting them off because I'm still not 100% sure which numbers you require. I'm afraid that our last email exchange left me none the wiser and I didn't know how to explain what I needed to know , sorry I should have said, but I had and have lots of other masks requests waiting.

Contact me and we'll sort it out.

All the best.

Mal
