I have actually started a model for Telford but I'm not going to say what it is, yet, as it might end up being the only thing that I build so it will have to be my secret build for the time being. The point is that I have actually started something YEAH
A thought did cross my mind about having a 20 questions type comp to see if you can guess what I'm building and if you did guess then I could blog it and then I would have to start something else. I'm not sure that's a good idea though, even if it might be fun?

Glad to see your back building again.
Is it the Arado Ar 196A-3 by any chance.

Well, it IS Mal, so I reckon theres a pretty good chance its going to be a Spitfire....
I have a hunch it might be larger than 1:32nd scale perhaps?

We need a summary at this point:
What we know
-It's not a Spit, but close
-It's not a Supermarine design
-It's not an Hawker design (leaving out the Typhoon 1/32)
-It's not an Arifix Mosquito 1/24
-Actually we know that is not larger than 1/32 (but nothing has been said about being 1/48..)
-Not an Arado Ar 196 as well.

What is likely:
-That is a british subject since Supermarine and Spit were close guesses.

However since Mal bought a Bf-109 1/32 at Telford, I wouldn't rule out this as a choice (this doesn't count as a guess since it's only a summary of the previous posts )

Mmm.. to summarize when is a Supermarine Spitfire NOT a Supermarine Spitfire?

Now you could say a Seafire but that is still a Supermarine design although built by Westland, Air Training Service Ltd and Cunliffe-Owen, so no not a Seafire.

Now could Mal be throwing a curve ball?

I'm guessing a Vickers Supermarine Type 300, prototype K5054.

Would it be a merlin engined P-51D Mustang? It shares the same engine as a spit and isn't a Supermarine design?
