Hi guys,

Just to say I'll not be able to see you guys at Telford this year.
My wife has been diagnosed with cancer in August and may not make it to the end of the year.
My life is a bit upside down at the moment what with the news and looking after my wife and 3 kids.
My oldest (Stephen) is 17 , my daughter (Janette) is 16, but my youngest (Jason) is only 5 so is hard to explain things to him.
I'll be there in spirit and hope you take plenty of pictures.

Hi Steve

Our thoughts are with you and yours at this hard time.

I am sure your minds will be very occupied right now. Have you and your wife thought about putting some of your wifes thoughts down to pass on to young Jason? A sort of memory box of her love for the kids and you.

Steve, stay in touch and give us a shout any time.

Nige

When my father died in 1999, I bought a thing called "Talking Picture Frame." t is a picture frame with a cover...like a book with a space for a photo, and a recording device inside. It records a minute of sound. I got with my dad, and told him to tell my sister that he loved her and leave her a message when I pushed the button. I said that I would give this to her after he passed away (he was t a terminal stage at this time). He liked the idea, did it, died a week later, and I gave it to her. She still has it; it still works; and she can still hear his voice when she wants to...just by pushing a button and looking at the picture that I put in the frame of her and him.

Also, I am a cancer survivor (18 years); a lot of things can happen as there is yet time. She has my prayers for strength and survival. Also, for you and your family. You all have the love of a very fine community here. May God bless you and yours.
