Thanks Joe and Nick. I am really surprised there's not a company that makes AM rocket pods as they use them quite frequent .

Man, you turn out stuff in a week that would take me a year.......and it still looks better than mine. Outstanding work. I'm not a big fan of camo schemes on modern jets, but yours looks great. That rocket pod is the shizzy. Nice work man, really nice.

Hello. Upon doing a 1/48 A-10 web search I came across your build. You do really good work and it is great to you are taking the time to post as it helps others.

I am new to scale modeling and have already benefited from your work.

At the present I too am building a 1/48 Hobby Boss A-10. May I ask if you have any tips on inserting the Aires A-10 cockpit. Any advice or cockpit preparation issues that I need to be aware of??

THANKS AND GREAT WORK!

the top part where the canopy meets the Aires tub fits like a glove.you will need to shave the sides on the Tub to get a good tight fit.The tabs on the insides of the kit fuselage halves have to be removed. And the front wheel well will need to be trimmed to fit.I appreciate your kind words sir and glad I helped.

Very nice looking A-10 there Justin! How did you find the Vallejo Air paint?

They dont seem readily available here in Oz, maybe I am not looking hard enough? I have almost a full set of the Model Color paints but wouldnt mind trying the Air range.

Why do so much beautiful work, just to paint it the wrong colors and put WAY too many weapons on it? So many A-10 Modelers stack so much under the old hog. There's not a runway long enough anywhere in the world to get all those bombs airborne, even if you dumped some fuel. Your build work and detailing abilities are amazing, but with the proper research, you could truly make an accurate tribute to the old hog... Other than the paint and weapons, great work! I have some good, color, 3d weapon load diagrams and color charts if you are interested. You are welcome to them...?

Your work is beautiful, so don't think I'm bashing your plane. And, it is YOUR model after all, so I understand you can build any way you like. I just see so many A-10 kits that are nice, but could be much more realistic looking with the proper colors and weapons.

Nathan, just curious as to why you revived one of Justin's old build threads from 2010? Don't think he's been around here for a while now.
