Why do you do it to me?

We meet at shows, you tell me to build dio's

And this happens

I thought it was supposed to be plastic models!!!!

I've learnt so much about photo etch, and a few new words as well!!

Keith - Thank you for your friendship, and your inspiration.

Updates to follow

Andy

That's looking real nice so far Andy.
Ahh Photo etch and resin in the mornings, you can't beat that feeling .
I must admit the Keith is an inspiration when building dio's. I always look at his features when building them, as he has some great tips.

Hi Andy

Looking good so far, and I am glad that I could help in any way, its the friends i have in modelling that keep me going at times

I have another brand new diorama on the go at the moment but i'm keeping it a little low key so I have posted very little on it, but i'm hoping it will be one of my best yet

Current running title is "Full Mental Jacket" but that may change in the future .

Keep the pictures coming as I will be keeping an eye on this one as it goes

happy modelling

cheers

Keith

looking good Andy,

I would only comment that the tools look a little to shiny for those used by the military, but that may be down to the pictures.

looking forward to seeing this progress

No problem Andy

generally paint the metallic parts of the tool with a matt black and then rub either MIG metallic pigments or a pencil (rub onto some sand paper, and apply with a finger or cotton bud) over the matt black parts as this will give a metalic look with out looking to shiney

HTH
